Welcome to and Acknowledgement of Country

The Awabakal and Worimi peoples are acknowledged by New Lambton Football Club as the Traditional Custodians of the land and waters situated within the Newcastle local government area, including wetlands, rivers creeks and coastal environments. It is known that their heritage and cultural ties to Newcastle date back tens of thousands of years.

Join our Club and connect with real people, who live, work, and play locally.

We have tiered grandstand seating in place, which means a higher level of comfort and viewing opportunity for our members, their families and friends.

Our Strategic Plan outlines plans that include increasing female player numbers, equipment procurement and replacement strategies as well as a facility improvement program including the complete rebuild of the outdated infrastructure to include fit-for-purpose and female-friendly facilities.

We are also investing in our people and players by ensuring that we provide access to little-or-no-cost training and knowledge improvement programs, and we are also investigating strategies for improving and increasing our playing fields and facilities.

Our focus is ensuring all members are engaged, supported and encouraged. The Club is committed to working towards Football Australia’s gender equity target of 50% by 2027. This provides a timeline to work towards whilst also aligning with the playing together pillar of FA’s Legacy 2023 document. Our goal is growing the female membership from 30% to 50%.
