New Lambton FC actively promotes and supports participation by players of all levels of ability and with special needs.
Football4All was established to further develop the special needs football programs of Northern NSW Football and to create a support network for volunteers, coaches, parents and players who are involved in special needs football.
Football4all club programs offer the opportunity for players to enjoy participation in a fun, safe and less competitive football environment.
Football4All focuses on participation through physical activity, player interaction, activities and social enjoyment of the game.
In the heart of New Lambton, Arnetts FC stands as a beacon of inclusivity and community spirit. As a dedicated Football4All club, it offers children with special needs and their families a welcoming environment to engage in football.

In April 2017, first-grade players and club officials from Edgeworth FC helped to launch the Arnett’s (meaning “little eagle”) Program.
The Arnett’s Team gives kids with a disability aged from 7 upwards the opportunity to learn football skills, in the same way that other children have. They play in small-sided team games and developing talents they never knew they had.
Importantly, the program brings these children and players from the mainstream club into each other’s orbit – integrating them, along with their families, into a more inclusive community. There have been remarkable benefits for everyone involved. Kids taking part are stronger, happier. Some wouldn’t even get out of the car at first. They’ve gone from not looking at each other to high-fiving and hugging and clapping each other when they score goals. It’s so rewarding to see. And their parents now have a social network.
The Arnett’s Program is a wonderful opportunity for children with a disability to thrive and develop strengths they mightn’t have discovered otherwise. The positive results which have come out of this program show how social inclusion can go in a child’s life.
A number of years ago, Arnetts FC moved across to New Lambton FC, and, whilst they retain their identity as Arnetts FC, they have fully integrated into the fabric of NLFC, and are now a big part of who we are and what we do.
Thriving under the umbrella of New Lambton Football Club, Arnetts FC is committed to ensuring that football is accessible to everyone, regardless of ability. The program focuses on participation, physical activity, and social enjoyment, providing a less competitive atmosphere where players can thrive.
